The most awaited Inter House Nritya Competition for students from Grades 7 and 8 was hosted at the Nehru Center Auditorium on the 25th of August this year after the Annual Prize Day. Our Principal, Ms George brought the day's event to a close by giving away the prizes and encouraging the participants with a rousing speech. The RBI’s move to allow the Indian Rupee for the settlement of international trade and the Agnipath Scheme were the agendas for the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha respectively. On 18th August, 189 students across grades 8 -12 from BSS Mahim and BSS Powai, participated with great zeal and vigour, thereby making the IYP 2022 a reverberating success. Indian Youth Parliament held at National College, Bandra: Feedback from visitors and participants was extremely positive.
Their good conduct, help and support was appreciated and admired by everyone. Student Council members assisted the career counselor and teachers on duty. Post discussion, students and parents visited the university booths for individual information and counselling sessions with the university officers. Kristoffer Toribio attended this event and spoke at length about the selection criteria for International students. The President of IACAC (International Association for College Admission Counselling), Mr. Mayura Mohta (career counsellor) with Admission Officers of premier universities. Sunita George, Principal and was followed by a short panel discussion and Q & A by Mrs. The fair commenced with a welcome address by Mrs. Each University was assigned a classroom where they presented their courses to the attendees. The fair had 22 private Indian Universities and 10 International Universities participating. The school organised a University Fair for students and parents of both campuses on 27th August 2022. University Fair 2022 for students of Grades 9 to12 and their parents: 245 delegates from Mahim and Powai participate participated in the 5 dynamic committees: UNGA, UNHRC, UNSC, JCC 1, DISEC and JCC 2.

In the 175th year of Bombay Scottish School Mahim, we were proud to host the 10th edition of SMUN and that too in offline mode on 29th and 30th August 2022.
Scottish Model United Nations Conference (SMUN) 2022 for students of Grades 8 to 12: The School initiated this program keeping in mind the importance of international exposure and an experience in building an overall global perspective between India and Netherlands. This program also included a visit to the Global Vipassana Pagoda and Sanjay Gandhi National Park. The students visited an NGO called Abhyudaya that works for the betterment of underprivileged children. This week-long exchange program involved a heritage walk to explore the city's architecture and heritage monuments, exposure to Indian textiles and dyeing and a cultural fest where students represented different states of India. As a part of our Global Partnership Initiative, the student exchange program was held between Bombay Scottish School, Mahim, Mumbai and Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest, Netherlands bringing together different cultures and traditions across the globe. In our endeavor to create global citizens, Bombay Scottish, Mahim has initiated a student exchange program from 4th to 9th September 2022.
